The Assistant Director collaborates with Housing & Residence Life staff, Facilities Management, campus partners, contractors, and vendors to coordinate facility-related operations, communication, and service needs. This position provides leadership and supervision for assigned staff, assists with operational improvements, supports facility projects, and participates in on-call emergency response rotation to ensure effective housing operations throughout the academic year, summer programs, and special events.

The Coordinator will create and implement initiatives that promote healthy interpersonal relationships and raise awareness about interpersonal and domestic violence, including intervention and prevention strategies. The Coordinator will connect EKU students to local and national advocacy resources that support student well-being, including resources to support students experiencing interpersonal and domestic violence.

The Relocation Specialist's primary responsibilities of this position are coordination and set up of University-related events, including event setup/installation and subsequent take-down/removal of all equipment and materials, including general cleanup and restoration of rooms and areas after conclusion of event. University-related events include but are not limited to events booked by the University's Conferences and Events Center, and other University departments (setting up graduations, weddings, banquets etc.) Secondary responsibilities include delivering items to campus and to departments across campus, such as boxed or pallet shipping. Sometimes off campus pickup and delivery. Pickup and delivery of office furniture, and occasionally resident hall furniture. The Relocation specialist position is a part of Facilities Management that serves the campus community. This includes but is not limited to helping with departments or other facility shops to ensure the campus has successful and efficient outcomes.
