Job Summary/Basic Functions

The College of Business at Eastern Kentucky University, an AACSB International accredited school, invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor of Management beginning August 2025. The primary responsibility for the candidate will be teaching undergraduate business management courses in the business core. Other responsibilities may include teaching other management and human resource courses as well as other business classes, all at the undergraduate level. The candidate will be expected to teach in-person courses, although some semesters may include an online class. Teaching assignments will include, but are not limited to management, human resources, and other related fields.

Excellence in, and a commitment to, teaching is essential. In addition to face-to-face instruction, some online teaching experience will be helpful. Conducting and publishing high-quality scholarly research and providing service to the profession, the University, and the business community consistent with EKU’s mission are required. Preference will be given to candidates with an active research agenda and publication record.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: The successful candidate should hold a master's degree in a related business field from an AACSB International accredited institution.

Preferred Qualifications:

A doctoral degree (PhD, DBA, EdD) in a related business field from an AACSB International accredited institution. Experience teaching online and in-person is preferred but not required.
