Job Summary/Basic Functions

The Student Assistant provides administrative, operational and customer service support to EKU’s Dual Credit Program. This role assists with communication, data entry, document management, and outreach efforts under the direction of full-time staff. The Student Assistant supports students, school partners, and internal processes through a variety of task-based assignments that vary throughout the year. This is a year-round position and includes expectations for availability during summer and occasional peak periods.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma required
• Current EKU enrollment required
• 0-2 years of experience in related areas such as office administration, customer service, education, etc.

Job Duties:

• 40% - Completes data entry, file uploads, spreadsheet updates, and document organization. Supports digital and physical file management with attention to accuracy and deadlines. - (Essential)
• 25% - Assists with drafting and formatting emails, preparing text messages, and organizing materials for partner visits, events, and student outreach. - (Essential)
• 20% - Monitors shared inboxes, processes forms, and routes inquiries to full-time staff. Provides customer service by responding to student questions and supports follow-up tasks for student communication and documentation needs. - (Essential)
• 15% - Supports one-time projects such as packet assembly, survey review, or document updates. Some evening or weekend work may be required. Summer availability is expected. - (Essential)
