Job Summary/Basic Functions

The Lock Shop student employee supports the university's Lock Shop team in maintaining, repairing, and servicing campus locking systems. This position involves hands-on assistance with key cutting, lock maintenance, inventory tracking, and administrative tasks. The student employee will help uphold campus security standards while gaining valuable experience in facility maintenance.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Must be enrolled at EKU

Job Duties:

• 30% - Organize keys and provide general assistance to Lock Shop Technicians - (Essential)
• 30% - Data entry of keys and codes/may include scanning and indexing - (Essential)
• 20% - Keep shop area clean and organized - (Essential)
• 20% - General duties that may assist the betterment of Lock Shop - (Essential)
