Job Summary/Basic Functions

Provide administration and professional support services for all activities of the department, direct executive assistance to departmental leaders, and oversees the department needs. Services provided include written communications, meeting and resource management, data management and analysis, scheduling, organization, conducting research, and coordination of activities across departments within EKU to ensure a positive employee experience and seamless service.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: - Bachelor's degree is required.

Experience: - One year of responsible clerical, secretarial and/or administrative support is required.

Job Duties:

  • 40% - Perform Administrative Functions to support the effective operation of the department and associated programs
  • 30% - Maintain excellent public relations with internal and external constituents and create a professional and accurate reports, presentations, and documents
  • 25% - Serves as department liaison to other departments
  • 5% - Oversee sensitive meetings and records
