Job Summary/Basic Functions

The School of Nursing at Eastern Kentucky University invites applications for a clinical track position. Applicants should hold an earned Master of Science in Nursing degree from an accredited institution at the time of appointment. The position begins April 2025.

The position may serve the Associate of Applied Science in Nursing and Bachelor of Science in Nursing programs. It requires a minimum of 2 years clinical nursing experience and an unencumbered nursing license in the state of KY.

The successful candidate will teach undergraduate courses/clinicals in a 4/4 annual teaching load and conduct academic advising.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: • Master of Science in Nursing from an accredited institution at time of appointment.

Experience: • Minimum 2 years experience as a registered nurse


Licensure & Certifications: Unencumbered nursing license in the state of KY

Preferred Qualifications:

• A minimum of two (2) years experience teaching at the college or university level
• Recent experience in acute care of adult clients
• Recent experience in public or population health in nursing
