Job Summary/Basic Functions

EKU's College of Business is seeking Dual Credit Part-Time Faculty for the Fall 2025 semester to teach an online section of BUS 101, Nature of Business. This course introduces the functions of business, with applications of critical thinking and problem solving in business.

Dual Credit Part-Time Faculty are hired by Eastern Kentucky University to teach college-level courses to eligible high school students through the Dual Credit Program. Faculty deliver instruction using department-approved syllabi, assessments, and course materials, and are responsible for all aspects of teaching, grading, and academic reporting. This role is central to providing early college access while upholding EKU’s academic standards and student success mission.

We seek candidates with a master's degree or higher from an AACSB-accredited school. Business experience and/or teaching an undergraduate business course is desired. Faculty must meet EKU and SACSCOC faculty credential requirements and must be formally approved by the corresponding EKU academic department prior to assignment.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: We seek candidates with a master's degree or higher from an AACSB-accredited school. Experience teaching an undergraduate business course is desired.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Business experience and/or teaching experience at the undergraduate level is desired.
