Job Summary/Basic Functions

The EKU Department of Engineering and Technology is seeking a Graduate Assistant for the Fall 2025 semester, beginning August 18, 2025.

The successful candidate(s) will contribute to the operation and advancement of our department and its programs. Duties may include: teaching or teaching-support duties; update and support laboratory activities; assist with research; contribute to industry and community outreach (present to industry visitors, host prospective students); and/or perform analyses and/or reporting.

Candidates must meet the eligibility requirements of the EKU Graduate School Assistantship program to be considered, including but not limited to full-time enrollment with the EKU Graduate School and being in good academic standing. Candidates must have at least a bachelor’s degree in the field of instruction or related field, from an institutionally accredited or internationally recognized institution.

Graduate Assistantships are renewable on a semester-to-semester basis, dependent upon the resources/needs of the University.

Candidates must meet the eligibility requirements of the EKU Graduate School Assistantship program to be considered, including but not limited to full-time enrollment with the EKU Graduate School and being in good academic standing.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Candidates must have at least a bachelor’s degree in the field of instruction or related field, from an institutionally accredited or internationally recognized institution.

Sponsorship: This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
