Job Summary/Basic Functions

Arlington is looking for applicants with Lifeguarding experience and/or who currently hold a Lifeguarding Certification. Applicants need to be dependable, trustworthy, and have a positive attitude. Must be 15 years of age or older. Employees will be responsible for day-to-day patron surveillance, enforcement of pool rules, general cleaning, and providing outstanding customer service.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Current Red Cross Lifeguarding, CPR, First-Aid, AED Certification Required

Job Duties:

  • Monitor aquatic areas continuously to ensure the safety of all patrons, enforcing facility rules and responding promptly to any unsafe behaviors or condition - (Essential)
  • Perform water rescues, administer first aid, and provide CPR/AED care in emergency situations in accordance with established safety protocols. - (Essential)
  • Maintain active surveillance by remaining alert and focused, utilizing appropriate scanning techniques and positioning to prevent accidents before they occur. - (Essential)
  • Provide excellent customer service by assisting patrons with questions, offering safety guidance, and promoting a positive and welcoming aquatic environment. - (Essential)
