Job Summary/Basic Functions

Eastern Kentucky University in Richmond, Kentucky is seeking a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Mathematics. This position is a full-time, permanent position in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics. The faculty member is expected to teach 12 hours per semester, including general education courses, mathematics, and graduate level courses; establish a record of scholarship and publication; and contribute to departmental, college, and university service.

This position requires a Ph.D. in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, or a related area from a regionally accredited or internationally recognized institution and 6 months of experience teaching mathematics or related courses at a university-level. Offers of employment are contingent upon a satisfactory background check.

Education: This position requires a Ph.D. in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, or a related area from a regionally accredited or internationally recognized institution.
