Job Summary/Basic Functions
The Department of Teaching, Learning, and Educational Leadership is seeking two student workers to support the “Enhancing Student Accessibility: Assistive Technology” project. The project has been awarded a grant to allow for 15 hours per week of two student workers. The period of employment is Spring 2023 (January through May 2023).
The selected individuals will work closely with Dr. Jiyeon Park. The successful student worker will work on the development of the AIT Lab (which is a strategically designed space for teaching assistive and instructional technology curriculum).
The responsibilities include, and are not limited to, the following:
• Label, organize, and manage AIT devices;
• Create an AIT inventory list;
• Deliver an AIT introductory training to undergraduate students;
• Involve in AIT research project;
• Collect survey data;
• Assist with a professional presentation;
• Post announcements and flyers around campus;
• Coordinate activities with the Center for Student Accessibility
• Coordinate activities with prospective students or their families
• Collaborate as appropriate with Special Education faculty
• Other tasks as assigned.
