Job Summary/Basic Functions

The Support Services Associate coordinates, problem solves, and provides front line customer service through assessment, communication, and knowledge to complete assigned responsibilities. The incumbent maintains data and records through a specific understanding of the structure and system application; and may provide direction to student workers or other entry-level staff. Applicants must be available to work afternoon/evening shifts Monday through Thursday (approximately 2:00 PM – 9:00 PM) and Friday afternoons (12:30 PM – 4:30 PM).

Job Duties:

• 65% - Provides office management to the entire department by facilitating e-presence classes; providing faculty and student support; providing customer service to visitors; managing mail, inventory records, files, admission applications and transfer information, financial aid information, office schedules, and student worker resources. Essential - (Essential)
• 25% - Communicates with internal and external customers to exchange information, resolve issues or concerns, and coordinate activities. Essential - (Essential)
• 10% - Provides services, advice, and assistance for administrative, financial, and clerical business. Essential - (Essential)
