Job Summary/Basic Functions

A successful applicant will assist with daily requirements of the Aviation Program within the flight line. Duties will include assisting the flight line dispatch supervisor in every day operations. This position is at the KRGA airport so must have transportation to get to the airport.
1. Need a copy of student summer and spring schedule (2025)
2. Copy of resume
Dispatch supervisor works around school schedule then flight blocks are added on afterwards.

Minimum Qualifications

• Applicant must be enrolled as an EKU Student at least 12 hours.
• Student must also have successfully completed flight lab 161A.
• Applicants must be proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and be able to pick up on tasks rather quickly.
• Must have a flight schedule pro account

Preferred Qualifications: 

• It is imperative to arrive at your shift on time.
• Attach copy of your 2025 spring School Schedule.
• Need to be available to work fall, winter, spring and beyond.
• Dispatchers expected to work every other weekend.
• Dispatch times are from 8:00 am to 8:30 pm in Summer 2025 so a student worker could get any shift that is set up by the supervisor.
• Spring Dispatch hours will be from 6:45 am to 10:00pm. Student worker could also get any shift set up by Supervisor.

Job Duties:

Dispatch has other responsibilities including:

• Keeping the flight ops building clean and neat.
• Double checks of invoices.
• Filing dispatch tickets. A
• Any other duties asked by the supervisor of dispatch.
