Job Summary/Basic Functions

The Assistant Director of Graduate, Online, Adult, and Transfer Enrollment plays a critical role in developing, implementing, and managing recruitment and enrollment strategies for nontraditional student populations at EKU. This position provides strategic oversight and operational support for graduate, online, adult, and transfer student recruitment while ensuring seamless enrollment processes and CRM-driven engagement efforts.
Working closely with the Associate Director of Graduate, Online, & Transfer Enrollment, the Assistant Director helps lead a team of enrollment counselors, drives data-informed decision-making, and enhances partnership development and outreach efforts to expand EKU’s enrollment pipeline for these student populations.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Higher Education, Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Master’s degree preferred in Student Affairs, Higher Education Administration, Enrollment Management, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum three years of experience in higher education admissions, student recruitment, advising, or enrollment management.
Experience working with graduate, online, transfer, or adult student populations preferred.
Strong background in CRM utilization, student engagement analytics, and transfer student support.
Demonstrated ability to supervise staff, manage recruitment initiatives, and build strategic partnerships. Experience can be substituted for specific degree requirements but not educational level.

  • 35% - Assists in the development and execution of strategic recruitment plans to increase enrollment for graduate, online, adult, and transfer students. Works with academic departments, marketing teams, and student success units to ensure seamless student enrollment and engagement. Implements strategies to streamline and improve the transfer credit evaluation and graduate admissions process. Ensures an inclusive and supportive enrollment experience that meets the needs of nontraditional students. - (Essential)
  • 25% - Oversees the effective use of Technolutions Slate or other CRM platforms to track student inquiries, nurture leads, and personalize engagement efforts. Analyzes enrollment trends, CRM analytics, and conversion metrics to inform outreach strategies and enhance student engagement. Develops and manages automation workflows, drip campaigns, and targeted communication strategies to support prospective students at every stage of the enrollment funnel. Ensures data accuracy and reporting mechanisms are in place to track recruitment and enrollment outcomes. - (Essential)
  • 20% - Assists in the management, training, and professional development of Graduate, Online, Adu Enrollment Counselors. Provides coaching, performance evaluations, and goal setting to ensure a high-performing team focused on student success. Ensures collaboration across university departments, including financial aid, advising, and student services, to support student enrollment and persistence. Act as Associate Director in the absence of the Associate Director. - (Essential)
  • 10% - Builds and strengthens relationships with community colleges, employers, military organizations, and professional associations to expand enrollment pipelines. Represents EKU at transfer fairs, graduate school expos, employer-sponsored education events, and online recruitment webinars. Collaborates with university leadership to identify articulation agreements, corporate education partnerships, and new recruitment opportunities. Oversees targeted outreach initiatives for returning adult learners, graduate students, and online students. - (Essential)
