Job Summary/Basic Functions

The Co-op and Internships Coordinator oversees students' experiential learning. Collaborate with academic departments and with employers and co-op and internship providers to support students in gaining employment experience for academic credit. Meets with students to identify co-op and internship opportunities and work with students throughout co-op and internship experiences to solve problems and ensure experience meets standards for academic credit in students' major/program/department. Collaborates with office to provide career-oriented in-school wraparound support for students exploring or engaged in co-op and internship experiences.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree required.

Experience: 1-2 years of experience within career or student services; GCDF preferred.

Job Duties:

• 30% - Manage co-op and internship processes to ensure students, faculty, and employers are educated about co-ops and internship processes, opportunities, and assignments, feedback is gained on the quality of help given, students are provided with efficient guid - ()
• 30% - Ensure educational success of students in co-op and internships by meeting with students via individual appointments or group presentations to research and apply for co-ops/internships, serving as a resource for students to solve problems, and collaborati - ()
• 30% - Prepare students for experiential learning opportunities through resume critique, mock interview, Dress for Success, and other similar career readiness appointments/presentations. - ()
• 10% - Perform other duties as assigned. - ()
