Title: Colonels Cupboard Student Volunteer

Job Summary/Basic Functions

Duties: 

Unload, sort, and shelve food donations. 

Prepare food boxes for clients, maintain cleanliness, and ensure safety standards. 

Coordinate donation drives and pick-ups from local stores, farms, or food drives. 

Act as the contact for campus partners for donation drives. 

Manage inventory software, and ensure compliance with health regulations. 

Sort, weigh, and inspect incoming food donations.

Key Qualifications & Skills

Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy boxes (often 30-60+ lbs).

Organization & Safety: Knowledge of food safety, expiration date checking, and sanitation protocols.

Customer Service: Compassion when interacting with clients and volunteers.

Must be able to pass a background check
