Job Summary/Basic Functions

The Coordinator, Faculty Center for Teaching & Learning (FCT&L), provides leadership, instruction, and support throughout programs and spaces. The Coordinator develops and implements teaching and learning-focused workshops, training, and professional development opportunities for the university community. In addition, the Coordinator designs programming focused on engaging the university community in effective, innovative, and transformational teaching practices and enhancement of student learning. The Coordinator provides guidance and support for faculty to enhance teaching and learning while also communicating and collaborating effectively with faculty, staff, students, and university community regarding teaching and learning programs.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Master’s degree in instructional design, education technology, or a related field

Experience: Experience in program development and management in higher education.

Job Duties:

  • 30% - Oversees day-to-day operations of the FCT&L space - (Essential)
  • 10% - Coordinates hybrid setup for events in the FCT&L and Noel Studio spaces; maintains guides for tech - (Essential)
  • 10% - Coordinates FCT&L communication and outreach - (Essential)
  • 10% - Coordinates FCT&L Weekly Newsletter - (Essential)
  • 10% - Coordinates FCT&L signage, operating hours, and logistics - (Essential)
  • 10% - Oversee onsite registration and check-in for FCT&L programming in an effort to maintain the FCT&L Faculty Professional Development Transcript - (Essential)
  • 20% - Coordinates use of the Classroom, One Button Studio, and spaces, including documentation and related support for users and presenters - (Essential)
