Job Summary/Basic Functions

Football Video Coordinator is to assist the head coach in the administration of a Division I intercollegiate Football program that complies with the mission, guidelines, rules and regulations of the University, conference, and the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). Under the supervision of the Head Football Coach, this person is responsible for, but not limited to, maintenance of video and computer equipment, organization of practice filming, filming of games, film exchange with conference and non-conference opponents, recruiting and management of student film staff and production of highlight films. Other duties may be assigned by the Director of Athletics, sport administrator and/or head coach.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree is required

Experience: One year of related work experience is required

Job Duties:

  • 40% - Videotape practice sessions - (Essential)
  • 20% - Exchange of game film with all conference and non-conference opponents - (Essential)
  • 15% - Purchase and maintain upkeep of new video and computer equipment - (Essential)
  • 10% - Videotape games - (Essential)
  • 10% - Creation of highlight film - (Essential)
  • 5% - Supports the office functions by completing all other duties and special projects as assigned. - (Essential)
