Job Summary/Basic Functions

The Athletics Facilities & Operations Coordinator supports the execution of core daily operations, with responsibilities spanning facility setup, event logistics, and support services. This role builds the foundational knowledge required for success in the field, while offering exposure to both internal operations and external-facing event duties.

 

 Facility Support:
• Assist in maintaining athletic facilities for daily use and event readiness
• Set up and break down for team practices and internal department needs
• Report any safety, maintenance, or setup issues
• Help monitor digital displays and assist with content or troubleshooting
Event Operations
• Assist with locker room setup, field/court preparation, and signage placement
• Support on-site logistics for officials, teams, and event staff
• Participate in event setup and post-event breakdown
• Observe and begin learning lead responsibilities during events
Administrative Support
• Distribute team apparel and sponsored products
• Contribute to departmental projects and staff meetings
• Assist in coordinating equipment, deliveries, or scheduling needs

Preferred Qualifications:

  • One year of relevant experience
