Job Summary/Basic Functions
Student will work as a project research assistant and organizer in the EKU Food Studies Lab. Will participate in all aspects of the lab, including its day-to-day operations as well as its research projects and community outreach.

Preferred Qualifications:
Successful applicants will have a demonstrated interest in issues related to food insecurity, poverty, higher education and/or similar topics related to Food & Nutrition and Anthropology. Interest in and ability to conduct hour-long face-to-face interviews and focus groups and to type up transcription of interviews are a must. Attention to detail, ability to communicate well, and ability to take direction are essential. Anthropology and Food & Nutrition majors and minors are strongly encouraged to apply. Other majors with demonstrated interest in the topic will be considered for the position.
