Job Summary/Basic Functions

The Graduate Assistant will support the Student Success Center’s marketing and communications efforts to increase awareness, engagement, and utilization of academic support services across campus. Under the supervision of the Director of the Student Success Center, the Graduate Assistant will develop and implement a strategic communication plan, strengthen messaging and marketing materials, and manage digital content across SSC platforms. The incumbent will also coordinate social media efforts, support outreach and event marketing initiatives, and produce multimedia content, including a capstone video project highlighting student and staff experiences within the SSC. This position is an excellent fit for graduate students interested in marketing, communications, student engagement, and supporting student success in a higher education setting.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be enrolled in EKU's Graduate School
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with social media platforms
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Experience with digital content creation (graphics, video, or social media)
  • Familiarity with Canva
