Job Summary/Basic Functions

This position requires expertise in logistical processes to coordinate equipment and oversee facilities at the Institute of Creative and Collaborative Arts (ICCA). Candidate must have a strong passion for the arts, excellent interpersonal skills, and have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Video Production, Multimedia, or relevant field.

Experience: · At least one year’s experience in equipment and facilities management in the arts, media, or related fields
· Can oversee set up and equipment management for ICCA events.
· Can provide support with theatre and arts productions.
· Can act as a liaison with institutional IT.
· Can manage and maintain inventory for ICCA assets, including instruments, technology, and
recording equipment, and facilitate surplus removal.
· Can maintain check out systems for ICCA labs, studios, etc.
· Can pack and drive an equipment truck.
· Can lift at least 50 pounds.

Job Duties:

  • 35% - Coordinate equipment: Provide oversight to the planning, set up and movement of equipment and/or instruments for key ICCA events, such as orchestra performances, band concerts, art exhibitions. Organize student workers involved in event set-up and breakdown. Provide logistics support for audio/video productions. - (Essential)
  • 35% - Maintain equipment/facilities: Provide oversight of equipment check-out centers for ICCA including supervising student workers in the centers. Manage ICCA computer labs and production studios, and act as the liaison with EKU IT and campus facilities personnel to resolve issues. - (Essential)
  • 20% - Manage departmental assets by taking inventory of all University owned instruments and rentals, technology, and AV equipment; manage department surplus removal. Supervise equipment repairs and facilities issues in buildings used by ICCA (e.g., Brock Auditorium in Coates, Foster Music Building, Combs ICCA Studio). - (Essential)
  • 10% - Support ICCA by completing all other duties and special projects as assigned - (Essential)
