Additional Schedule Details: Weekly office hours will be scheduled around classes and other commitments, typically during business hours of 8am and 5pm.

Posted Salary Grade: Minimum $8 an hour

Job Summary/Basic Functions

The Marketing Assistant serves the department of Campus Recreation, with responsibilities that include but are not limited to:

• Graphic Designers
o Develop all graphic design work to be used in all publications including print and digital within the department

• Web Communication
o Responsible for communications on Reach Media, Colonel Radio, EKU Today/Students today, Campus Rec Homepage, Inside Look/Events, Campus Rec Newsletter, Engage

• Social Media
o Responsible for content on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat and Campus Rec App

• Imaging
o Responsible for accumulating quality photo and video of assigned events
o Responsible for development of all video media, management of YouTube account
o Responsible for providing the content to GD/WC/SM

• Public Relations
o Responsible for storage of and timely placement and removal of signage
o Responsible for campaigning, tabling and managing promotion item inventory

Minimum Qualifications

Licensure & Certifications: Must be enrolled at EKU

Preferred Qualifications:

Applicants need to be a full-time student at EKU or in your graduating semester.

Experience with Adobe CC, iMovie, Adobe Premier Pro, Final Cut, Canva or other video editing software. Student majoring in Marketing or Graphic Design encouraged to apply. Sales/Marketing experience.
