Title: Media Lab/Checkout Student Worker

Job Summary/Basic Functions

Student workers are responsible for the basic maintenance and upkeep of department computer labs. Operating equipment checkout by checking Out/In equipment for student media production needs. Maintaining the security of equipment in the department’s equipment checkout. Checking for damaged equipment when it comes back in. Places help tickets for computers that need to be serviced by IT. Assisting faculty and staff in classes as needed. Assisting with other assigned tasks as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

• Applicants must be enrolled as a student at EKU.

Preferred Qualifications:

Applicants should have completed or be enrolled in BEM 295 and have experience with MAC machines.

Job Duties:

• Maintain checkout equipment - (Essential)
• Assist in departmental labs - (Essential)
• Check equipment in and out to departmental students - (Essential)
