Job Summary/Basic Functions

The WEKU reporter is responsible for reporting short form stories, long form features, interviews and digital content. This position also includes backup on-air hosting and recording.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism or related field is required

Experience: One year of related work experience is required, with experience in reporting and producing news/public affairs programming preferred

Job Duties:

• 85% - Serve as Reporter. - (Essential)
• 10% - Serve as backup on-air Host. - (Essential)
• 5% - Supports the office functions by completing all other duties and special projects as assigned. - ()
