Job Summary/Basic Functions

The SSMC Student Coordinator is responsible for basic organizing and daily cleaning of spaces; greeting student users and providing information on the SSMC; and ensuring a safe experience for all users.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be a Federal Work Study student.
  • Applicants must be able to work independently
  • Attend to details and execute normal opening, monitoring, and closing procedures for the SSMC.
  • Maintain cordial welcoming attitude with SSMC student users.
  • Continually demonstrate equanimity and excellent communication with the OS & OT Administrative Coordinator,the faculty directors of the SSMC, and other EKU faculty, staff, and administration.
  • Preferred majors include Occupational Science, Occupational Therapy, Nursing, Psychology, Social Work, Communication Disorders, Special Education, Education, Child and Family Studies, or Public Health.
