Job Summary/Basic Functions

Fall/Spring Semester
The student employee in the College of Business Dean's Office will perform the following duties:
Provide customer service to our students, faculty, and staff.
Provide administrative tasks such as
Responsibilities consist of assisting with day-to-day office operations to include receiving visitors, answering the telephone, filing, research, and other projects as requested.
Maintaining and managing private student information in online and physical files.
Managing and overseeing bulletin boards and other displays announcing course offerings and seminars.
Assisting the admissions office in processing admission forms for potential students.
Interacting with students via email and phone, addressing any questions or concerns.

Student must be able to work 20 hours during the office hours, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm, Monday – Thursday to include lunch hours.

Minimum Qualifications

Must be enrolled at EKU.

Preferred Qualifications:

Excellent oral and written communication skills; experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint; and enjoy working in an office setting. Candidates must be self-motivated and adhere to strict confidentiality rules.
