Job Summary/Basic Functions

This position involves covering the reception desk when needed: responding appropriately to questions and concerns from faculty, staff, students and the public; answering phones; taking messages; document imaging; keeping office files in an orderly manner; efficiently operating general office equipment, and other duties as assigned, including running miscellaneous campus errands.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be enrolled at EKU.
• Must have good academic and conduct standing with the University and maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Must be a full-time student. Both, Undergraduates and Graduate Students are welcome to apply.

Preferred Qualifications:

• The qualifications sought in our student workers are those of a mature, motivated, professional and task-oriented nature, who have a pleasant disposition.
  
  

Job Duties:

• 40%% - Provide front reception desk coverage by answering emails and telephone calls. - (Essential)
• 40%% - Scanning document imaging and assisting with file organization. - (Essential)
• 20%% - Providing support to Graduate School staff with special projects and other duties that carry out operational needs. - (Essential)
