Job Summary/Basic Functions

This position will work under the guidance of the web and marketing team to assist with the migration of content into WordPress. The incumbent will work within the website platform to add content to pages, including text, images, video, captions, and alt text, while helping to ensure web content follows SEO best practices, digital accessibility requirements, and brand guidelines.

Minimum Qualifications

Licensure & Certifications: Must be enrolled at EKU

Preferred Qualifications:

• Self-starter with an understanding of marketing and web content
• Knowledge and experience with WordPress or similar platform
• Ability to edit content for clarity, consistency, and voice
• Strong attention to detail with excellent grammar and editing skills
• Knowledge or willingness to learn about marketing and web best practices
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate with faculty and staff across disciplines
• Commitment to supporting student success and enhancing educational resources at EKU
