Job Summary/Basic Functions

The telecommunicator will serve as the focal position for all communications within the universities division of police using their in-depth knowledge of all university and division functions, operations and geography to assist in protecting the well-being of all university facilities, faculty, staff, students and visitors.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or GED is required.

Experience: One year of previous related experience or training is required.

Job Duties:

  • 80% - Manage and triage all incoming response request calls; - (Essential)
  • 15% - Provide assistance in office management responsibilities; - (Essential)
  • 5% - Perform other duties as would be appropriate for his/her function in the division as directed by the supervisor; - (Essential)
