Job Summary/Basic Functions

Teaches part-time for the aviation program at Eastern Kentucky University. Primary responsibility is to teach various aviation academic and ground school courses as required.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Master’s degree in Aviation or related field or at least two years of work experience in aviation.

Licensure & Certifications: As required by FAA to teach applicable ground school classes.

Preferred Qualifications:

• For pilot ground schools - Applicable flight certifications for the ground school classes interested in teaching.
• For UAS-related classes - FAA part 107 certification
• Other aviation academic classes - certification as applicable
