Job Summary/Basic Functions

The EKU Human Resources office is hiring a Student Office Assistant. The Student Office Assistant will work collaboratively with the Human Resource Operations & Business Partner teams to maintain, organize, file, locate, and remove personnel records in the Human Resources office. The Student Office Assistant will also be asked to provide basic front office customer service to ensure the efficiency of office operations. The Student Office assistant may be asked to assist with projects that may include data analysis, entry, and reporting.

Minimum Qualifications

Licensure & Certifications:

  • Must be enrolled at EKU
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel & other Computer Skills
  • Confidentiality & Compliance with applicable Laws & Policies
  • Attention to Detail
  • Dependability

Preferred Qualifications:

Human Resources or Related Field Major preferred.

Job Duties:

  • 85% - Maintain, Organize, File, Locate, and Remove personnel records - (Essential)
  • 10% - Front Desk Customer Service - (Essential)
  • 5% - Data entry, analysis, and reporting - (Essential)
