Job Summary/Basic Functions

The Housing Representative for the Housing Office will play a crucial role in providing front desk customer service and administrative support to the Housing Office. This position involves interacting with students, staff, and visitors, handling inquiries, and performing a variety of tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the office.

Minimum Qualifications

Licensure & Certifications: Must be enrolled at EKU.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled as a student.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and handle a variety of responsibilities.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Familiarity with basic office equipment (e.g., phone systems, computers).
• Previous customer service experience is a plus.

Job Duties:

• Front Desk Customer Service: (Essential)
  • Serve as the first point of contact for students and visitors.
  • Answer general questions and provide information about housing services.
  • Collect and process various forms and documents.
• Phone Management: (Essential)
  • Answer incoming phone calls and direct them to the appropriate personnel.
  • Address phone inquiries and provide accurate information.
• Administrative Support: (Essential)
  • Run errands as needed to support office operations.
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail, including flyers and packages.
  • Distribute supplies and maintain inventory.
• Package Handling: Pick up packages from the mailroom and ensure they are delivered to the correct recipients. - (Essential)
