Job Summary/Basic Functions

The Assistant Director, Football Sports Performance provides guidance and assistance to the Head Football Coach and Director, Football Sports Performance. Assists in the development, supervision and safety of the Eastern Kentucky University Football Player's weight training, speed and agility, nutrition, and conditioning programs. Assists in maintaining all equipment and ensuring safety of athletes at all times. Must adhere with all university, Conference and NCAA rules and regulations.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: - Bachelor's degree is required

Experience: - One year of related work experience is required.

Licensure & Certifications: - NSCA and/or CSCCA

- Automobile, must have a valid driver's license

Preferred Qualifications:

Job Duties:

• 50% - Assist in the development, supervision, and safety of the Eastern Kentucky University Football Player's weight training, speed and agility, and conditioning programs. - ()
• 20% - Assist in the daily set up of strength and conditioning tasks. - ()
• 10% - Participate in the overall maintenance of weight room facility and equipment including the cleaning and repair of all equipment used by Eastern Kentucky Sports Performance as well as Eastern Kentucky University Football. - ()
• 10% - Assist in the monitoring and stocking of nutritional supplements and the distribution of post workout nutrition, pre-practice nutrition, student athlete snacks, and monitors student-athlete nutritional intake. - ()
• 10% - Assists with internship program, recruiting activities, day-to-day-operations, team travel, and all team events. - ()
