Additional Schedule Details: On call and overtime are required.

Job Summary/Basic Functions

Under limited supervision, performs the planning, installation, maintenance and repair of the university's water delivery, sewer systems, gas network, heating systems, fixtures and fittings.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or GED is required.

Experience: One year of directly related technical experience is required.

Licensure & Certifications: Kentucky Journeyman's Plumber License is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge and compliance of Public Service Commission, OSHA, EPA codes.

Job Duties:

  • 50% - Performs the Planning, installation, maintenance and repair of water delivery and sewer systems as outlined in established procedures and regulations. - (Essential)
  • 10% - Performs inspections - (Essential)
  • 10% - Oversees - (Essential)
  • 20% - Completes - (Essential)
  • 10% - Supports the smooth and efficient operations of the department and the University - (Essential)
