Job Summary/Basic Functions

The Department of Chemistry and Forensic Science is accepting applications for a CFOR Tutor. Appointment is for the Spring 2026 semester, with the option to renew as openings are available.

Responsibilities include tutoring students in all offered Chemistry courses, maintaining the Tutoring Center by the upkeep of inventory, assisting with computer needs of students, and monitoring printer functions.

Candidates pursuing a degree in Chemistry or related STEM program are strongly encouraged to apply.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Must be enrolled full-time at EKU and meet eligibility requirements for Federal Work Study and/or Institutional Work Study.

Experience: Must have completed General Chemistry Courses (CHE 111 and CHE 112) and have a minimum GPA of 3.0 for all courses taken.

Preferred Qualifications:

Completion of CHE 361 Organic Chemistry with high GPA.

Sponsorship: This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
