Job Summary/Basic Functions

The student will work on developing a numerical code for calculating semiclassical transport properties in semiconductor devices. The student’s primary role will be coding a finite-element method for determining the electrostatic environment of a semiconductor nanodevice.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Must be enrolled at EKU

Preferred Qualifications:

Qualifications include familiarity with Python, linear algebra and differential equations, and electrostatics.
