Job Summary/Basic Functions

The Educational Coordinator (EC) is responsible for the recruitment of participants in target schools, to provide advising, support, guidance and mentoring to participants. The EC will encourage the completion of middle school, high school, enrollment in post-secondary institutions, and to complete post-secondary education. The incumbent is also accountable for developing positive community partnerships and communicating the program's services to targeted audiences.

Minimum Qualifications

Education:

Experience: One year of related work experience is required, preferably working with students and adults from diverse populations

• 35% - Recruit Program Participant for Educational Talent Search Program - (Essential)
• 45% - Provide Guidance, Counseling and Advising to ETS Participants - (Essential)
• 10% - Plan and Conduct ETS Public Relations & Communication Activities - (Essential)
• 10% - Ensure the effective operations of the department by completing other duties as assigned - (Essential)
