Additional Schedule Details: Fall 2024. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, 5-8PM (Callers are required to work at least two shifts weekly)

Posted Salary Grade: Minimum $8.00/hour

Job Summary/Basic Functions

Digital Engagement Center Callers are responsible for calling, texting, and emailing EKU alumni and friends for the purposes of engagement and to ask for gifts in support of students. The work environment is competitive, yet fun and rewarding.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Must be enrolled at EKU

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Handle personal information with confidentiality.
  • Personable attitude.
  • Strong verbal communication skills.
  • Comfort in soliciting gifts.
  • Persistence in securing a pledge and negotiating the pledge amount.
  • Organizational abilities and attentiveness to details.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Enthusiasm for Eastern, its mission and programs.

Job Duties:

  • 75% - Calling alumni and friends of the university - (Essential)
  • 20% - Texting and emailing alumni and friends of the university - (Essential)
  • 5% - Helping to complete mailings to alumni and friends of the university - (Essential)
