Applicants should hold an earned Ph.D. in Physics or a related field from an accredited institution at the time of appointment. ABD applicants may be considered but must have a Ph.D. (verified by official transcripts) at the time of appointment. The position begins August 2025.

Teaching duties may include a combination of core physics courses; physics and engineering service courses; general education courses; and upper-level electives. All introductory physics and astronomy courses at EKU are inquiry-based and taught in a studio-style classroom setting. We seek a colleague with academic training and practical experience that complements the department’s expertise and resources.
