A partial goal of the EKU MPH Program is to develop students into competent Environmental Health Science (EHS) / Industrial Hygiene (IH) professionals. While the EHS/IH graduate student may have a basic body of knowledge in EHS/IH, working as a teaching/lab assistant, tutor, and/or grader in undergraduate courses will reinforce and enhance the graduate student's knowledge while strengthening their written and oral communication skills. The enrichment of the mentioned knowledge and skills in the EHS/IH graduate students is fostered by working with their faculty coordinators in their teaching/lab related assignments.
