Job Summary/Basic Functions

The Graduate Assistant will perform various service, research and teaching activities in the Safety, Security and Emergency Management Graduate Program as well as within the Safety, Security and Emergency Management department which includes the undergraduate programs in Fire and Safety Engineering Technology Program, Assets Protection Program, Homeland Security Program and Emergency Medical Program. The Graduate Assistant may assist graduate and undergraduate faculty/staff with research-related activities, assist graduate and undergraduate faculty/staff in service related activities and may be required to assist graduate faculty in teaching related activities. Clear admission required. Preference provided to graduate students enrolled in the Safety, Security and Emergency Management Graduates Program.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be enrolled or planning to enroll in EKU Graduate School.
