Job Summary/Basic Functions

Graduate assistants in the Department of Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy will develop teaching skills in the occupational therapy discipline. They will assist with setting up and supporting class labs, assist with development/revisions of course materials, preliminary grading of class assignments with a rubric, program planning for departmental events, supporting faculty research (completing literature searches, etc.) and may also support faculty service roles. The main focus of this position is to support faculty teaching.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must graduate with Bachelors degree in Occupational Science prior to beginning position
• Must be enrolled at EKU in the professional pathway of the Doctor of Occupational Therapy
