Job Summary/Basic Functions

The College of Education and Applied Human Sciences at Eastern Kentucky University invites applications for a part-time clinical position. The part-time faculty position will supervise undergraduate and graduate teacher education candidates in school-based clinical experiences. Candidates will be hired from this pool as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Master’s degree in education

Experience: At least 3 years of P-12 teaching and/or administrative experience required.

Licensure & Certifications: Kentucky Teacher Certification within the past 5 years

Job Duties:

  • 45%% - Supervises undergraduate and graduate students in P-12 school-based clinical experiences. - (Essential)
  • 40%% - Facilitate communication between the P-12 school, students, and university. Provide feedback and complete assessments submitted by students. - (Essential)
  • 10%% - Attend CE meetings and trainings scheduled throughout the semester. - (Essential)
  • 5%% - Supports the office functions by completing all other duties and special projects as assigned. - (Essential)
