Job Summary/Basic Functions

The Project Manager, Project Administration serves as a University representative for Capital Projects, working with external contractors and project groups, construction contacts, and campus constituents. Responsibilities include reviewing design & construction documents, attending design & construction meetings, managing the project schedule and budget by utilizing all available resources, and monitoring project progress in the field. This will be done in accordance with the Capital Construction procedures manual.,, The Project Manager, Project Administration serves as a University representative for Capital Projects, working with external contractors and project groups, construction contacts, and campus constituents. Minimum Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s Degree Required

Experience: Three years of experience required. Preference of construction management experience.

Job Duties:

  • 70% - Manages Capital Construction projects - (Essential)
  • 10% - Assists with In-House Project Management - (Essential)
  • 10% - Provides a continuous follow-up on projects to assure that conditions are acceptable - (Essential)
  • 5% - Supports the office functions by completing all other duties and special projects as assigned - (Essential)

Sponsorship: Visa sponsorship will be considered on a case-by-case basis, depending upon the needs of the unit, available sponsorship budget, and the qualifications of the candidate.
