Job Summary/Basic Functions

The Seasonal Aquatics Coordinator is responsible for supporting the daily operations, staff supervision, and overall functionality of the University Club’s aquatic facility during the active season. This position assists in ensuring a safe, high-quality, and member-focused aquatic environment by helping oversee lifeguard staff, enforcing safety protocols, and supporting aquatic programming and events. The Seasonal Aquatics Coordinator contributes to maintaining facility readiness, cleanliness, and compliance with all applicable regulations while delivering exceptional service aligned with the Club’s standards of excellence.

Minimum Qualifications

  • WSIT (Water Safety Instructor Training)
  • LGIT (Life Guard Instructor Training)
  • LG/FA/CPR/AED (Standard Red Cross certification that includes deep water training, generally defined as 7 feet or deeper).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Recreation Management, Sports Management, or related field preferred.
  • 3–5 years of aquatic management experience preferred.
  • Experience in a private club or hospitality environment preferred.
