Job Summary/Basic Functions

Now hiring student workers for the Fire Protection Labs at the Ashland Building to aid the Lab Coordinator in the development, construction, execution and recycling of various fire-based lab activities. Active mentorship will teach you many valuable hands-on skills. This job features indoor and outdoor work, some moderate lifting, and the use of various hand and power tools.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be enrolled at EKU

Preferred Qualifications:

• Completion or enrollment in FSE 101 and FSE 120 preferred, but not required. Open to all majors.

Job Duties:

• 75% - Fire Investigation Labs - (Essential)
• 15% - Fire Investigation Residency Support - (Essential)
• 10% - Maintenance - (Marginal)
