Job Summary/Basic Functions

The American Sign Language Lab tutor will provide individual and group American Sign Language tutoring to students enrolled in ASL, Deaf and Hard of Hearing educator prep, and interpreter education programs. ASL tutors also assist ASLIE faculty and staff with various tasks as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must have native or near-native fluency in ASL and the disposition for working with students in a tutoring role.

Job Duties:

• 100%% - Tutoring of ASL and providing feedback on ASL performance and/or Interpretation performance between ASL and English. 

Sponsorship: This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
