Job Summary/Basic Functions

The Coordinator serves as a member of the Student Life & First-Year Experience (SL&FYE) team. Primary responsibilities include overseeing the University's student activity programming model and associated programs. This role also coordinates and assists with FYE programming. They provide support to all SL&FYE areas as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: - Bachelor's degree required in Higher Education, College Student Personnel, or closely related field is required.
- Master's degree preferred.

Experience: - One year of previous experience in student activities, programming or related field is required

Job Duties:

  • 45% - Coordinates and assists with large-scale department and University events, supervises students and volunteers, and works collaboratively with campus planning groups. - ()
  • 25% - Coordinates and assists with the implementation of FYE programming. - ()
  • 25% - Coordinates and implements engagement opportunities among student's faculty, and staff using the department's activities model approach. - ()
  • 5% - Supports the office functions by completing all other duties and special projects as assigned. - ()
