Additional Schedule Details: The position is located on the Richmond campus. The position will also be required to travel to Corbin and Manchester to assist with overall EKU enrollment initiatives as well as oversee the East Tennessee area. Job Summary/Basic Functions
The Assistant Director of Recruitment is responsible for identifying and recruiting qualified, new undergraduate students to the University. The position will recruit for the Main Richmond Campus and the Regional Campuses. The position performs activities in support of stewardship and workforce development to leverage community and University resources to improve the quality of life throughout EKU's service region and fosters strategies to improve educational advancement and economic development. The position will conduct market analysis, employ data analysis to help move prospective students through the recruitment lifecycle, use predictive modeling, recommend and implement recruitment strategies, and establish relationships with prospective students, families, school counselors, and community members involved in the college search and selection process as well as host presentations. The position will have an individual territory and a regional territory, providing strategic direction and support of initiatives and other counselors in those regions. This position will serve as the Admissions liaison to targeted associations and community organizations and assist with and manage partnership agreements. They will use a Client Relationship Management (CRM) tool and other software to manage territories, develop communications in all mediums, create queries and reports, and create and manage travel and events. They will orchestrate all travel to ensure maximum coverage of state, regional, and national college fairs in selected markets. They will also assist with and participate in university hosted recruitment events, create events and programming aimed at recruiting prospective students, provide training, mentoring, and support to other counselors.
Minimum Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree is required. Master's preferred.
Experience: Three years of related work experience is required. Previous experience as an Admissions Counselor and/or education counseling experience is preferred.
Licensure & Certifications: Valid state driver's license is required.
